It all started like this.
You are a student at Montmorency College. Two years ago, you chose to complete a DEC in Health Science. We're now on March 2021, it's your last chance to apply to university. You need to choose what's next for you.
Choice 1 : Apply to Sherbrooke University in Physical Therapy.
Choice 2 : Apply to McGill University in Medicine.
Choice 3 : Continue to work at IGA.

You are way too excited! It's a new life ahead of you. You have always lived in Laval, so it's the complete unknown that's waiting for you. You're a bit nervous, because everything is going to be new: the city, the people, and most importantly, your home. You need to plan where you're going to live. What do you choose?
Choice 1 : Find an apartment of your own.
Choice 2 : Live your best life in residence.
Apply to McGill University in Medicine.
You made it! Despite what you used to think, you have the abilities to become a doctor. You have already completed your undergraduate doctorate. You now have to decide in which field you want to specialize.
Choice 1 : Become a cardiologist surgeon.
Choice 2 : Become a pediatrician.
Continue to work at IGA.
You're now 60 years old. You spent your whole life working in the same market, getting higher on the social scale. When you were young, you thought this opportunity was the easiest way to make money. The drawback of your dead-end-job was the limited wage you could ever earn. You made it to customer service manager, for four additional dollars per working hours. With your knowledge, you were able to give OJT, one of the biggest accomplishments of your sad life. You spent your days watching trainees come and leave to access higher education: choice you didn't make at their age, and that you regretted forever.

Lucky you! You ran into an old friend who's also going to study in Sherbrooke. He has already found a housing, he was just missing a room-mate. You arranged your relocation, and you're finally settled in your new home.

You're officially settled in your new residence room. Friday nights and weekends are as festive and fun as you thought, but this ambiance is also on every day of your weeks. You're having troubles to concentrate and to study well. What do you do?

You're almost at the end of your master degree. It's March 2025, and you can't wait to finally be on the work market. On one of your last Friday night in Sherbrooke, you hear a muffled noise, and your feelings tell you that something is strange. Do you follow your intuitions or do you keep your own business?

You died peacefully in your sleep. However, you're full of regrets. When you look back at your life, all you see are bad decisions. Your career choice made you unhappy, and you didn't realize yourself as you should have. You had some boyfriends, but because of your madness, you could never find your soulmate. You died alone, and with no dreams achieved.

You're risking your life every hour to save others. You'll certainly have thousands of heroic souvenirs to tell your kids, if you ever have some. It's a casual day for you, you're in the middle of an operation, and suddenly, a scary noise is heard. What is it?

You engaged yourself as a doctor in the MSF organization. It's an incredible opportunity for you. You're starting your career while volunteering abroad, you couldn't have found a better purpose for your life! Even though it doesn't come with premium wage, you believe it's an invaluable experience. You officially have your first contract: you're going to Guatemala. Unfortunately, your plane crashes, and you do not make it any further.

You chose the calmest way to pursue your career, and you do not regret your decision. The day you were hired, you discussed salary, vacations, benefits, and pensions with human resources. You now work in conditions way higher than dead-end-jobs. Plus, you're gaining experience with time, and you're developing great relations with your colleagues. One of those relations take an unexpected way, what is it?

Surprise! You found the love of your life at your workplace. You sometimes have a hard time separating personal and professional, but overall, it's the greatest relationship you could have ever asked for. You're already engaged, and on a casual morning, you find out by vomiting that you are pregnant. You can't believe that one of your biggest dreams is going to become your reality. You're going to have your own family, and it fulfills you with happiness and love. Your first semester goes by, and you officially have to take your leave of absence because your belly is in the way of your work. Indeed, physical therapy is a physical job, and you have to be cautious with your baby. You delegate the trouble of your temporary vacant position to human resources.

Bad news for you: your workplace gets sucked up in office politics.You're the head of a physiotherapy clinic, and you realize that all of your employees now apply office politics. It's unbelievable! With only one employee withholding information or undermining his colleagues, the level of productivity suffers considerably. Indeed, more often than not, the business gets sucked up in non-professional behaviour and it affects the overall picture of the company. Not to mention that undermining colleagues results directly in the work environment. Negative talking hinders communication and the credibility of the company in the eyes of the customer. Therefore, you have to do drastic changes to get rid of the toxic and destructive environment now in place. It's probably one of the biggest challenges in your career, but you have the drive to get through this. A few months later, you made it. Patients now leave satisfied about their experience, but you're exhausted. You want fresh air, and a new workplace. What challenge do you now get involved in?

Your life goes by normally. You finally graduate from Sherbrooke University, and an incredible opportunity is offered to you. You got an internship! You're really excited to be an intern because you know how it can always come in handy. It's a great test drive and an excellent way to learn the ropes of your job. Your first days arrived, and like you imagined, you start with OJT. With time, you prove your skills, and more responsibilities come with it. You could have been overwhelmed, but no, you keep your head straight. At the end of that summer, you literally have a foot in the door to the work market. Indeed, your trainers like you so much that they decided to offer you an official job at their clinic.

Follow my intuitions.
You follow the sound, and you end up in an alley, in front of two of your school mates. It feels like you have interrupted an act, because the guy is acting strange, and the girl doesn't seem fine. The evening goes by, and the minute you're alone with the girl, you ask her if everything is fine. She starts crying, and your sensibility takes control because she seems literally broken: she confides being a victim of sexual harassment. As the head of your cohort, you have to do something because you're deeply disappointed by this misconduct. You thought that the fact that you all dreaded the possible consequences of misconduct was enough to prevent eventual recipients of sexual harassment. Turns out you were wrong. Anyway, the next day, you and the girl go to the direction to denounce the boy in question. The advice they give her are deterring. She's advised to maintain silence because we graduate in less than two weeks. It upsets you so badly, that you feel like you have to act. You offer her to go to the police, if she's ready to face the procedures. The police is definitely more resourceful that your direction. Second thing you know, her perpetrator is under arrests, and you feel grateful for having followed your intuitions. However, because of this incident, you missed your applications. You still have to be hire somewhere, what do you do?

Retirement.
20 years went by just like a snap of the fingers. You build your own family: you know have two beautiful children and one amazing husband to check out on you. Your life was definitely a drudgery, but it was so worth it. You have always resisted to the drive of work, which made you stronger in every possible way. You're now one step from retirement. With the excellent work conditions you had, and the hard work you put in your career, a considerable pension is waiting for you. Plus, with the kids getting older, you sold the big house a few years ago, so you know have money put aside and a mortgage to live a heavenly retirement.

You made the move, and you went blindly in the entrepreneurial world. You struggled at first to find money and people to invest in your business. Finally, you made it all by your own, and you're now manager and owner of "KG Physical Therapy Clinic". It's a proud accomplishment for you, and on a casual business trip, you met someone very special. Guess what this very person is going to become to you?

You spend the following day looking for vacant positions in various companies. At this point, you apply to every possible option because you just want to work in your field of study after graduating. A couple of hours later, the HR department of a private physical therapy clinic contacts you. They think you're a potential candidate, and they invite you on an interview. Stress and hope take control of your mind, but you still remain calm and confident. During the first interview, the human resources ask various questions in order to find out if you could be a good employee for them. The stressful moment ends, and they tell you that they're going to call you soon if they are interested in your candidature. In the meantime of the waiting, a professor approaches you to volunteer abroad in Guatemala. What do you do?

You're proud of the woman you became, you lived every single moment of your existence to the fullest. The physical therapy field was definitely the best choice for your career.
